Dr. Alice Munene is a researcher, senior lecturer and the current Dean, School of Human and Social Sciences at Daystar University. She holds Masters degrees in Counseling Psychology, and Clinical Psychology and a Doctor of clinical Psychology. Dr. Munene has handled administrative duties both as Chairman of the department and Dean. She has interacted with international and local scholars in conferences, workshops and seminars whose themes touched on a wide range of global issues. She has been actively involved in curriculum development both for under-graduate and post-graduate programs.  She has supervised both Masters and Doctoral students in their projects, and theses.  She is also an external examiner for Kenyatta University and also examines theses for KEMU.  Her research interests touch on marital counseling, religion, family and childhood development.  She, in addition works as a therapist at Nuru Counseling Centre, Daystar University. She has previously worked as a peer counselor and clinical therapist at Nairobi University Psychiatric Clinic, Kenyatta National Hospital, Romead School of Psychology and Crisis Pregnancy Ministries, Kenya.  She has several publications in journals and books.  She is currently an external examiner for Kenyatta University, Department of Psychology. >>Download Full CV<<
