  • Awarded academic scholarship by the University of Nairobi to pursue Master of Arts degree in the department of philosophy 1997.
  • Won a research grant from the Centre for the Development of Social Science Research in Africa (CODESRIA) for Master of Arts Thesis writing in Philosophy of law 1998.
