Bachelor Of Education And Bachelor Of Arts Entry Requirements

  • The common regulations for admission to the University shall apply.
  • In addition to meeting the entry requirements for admission to the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, a candidate shall not have less than a B pass in English in the KCSE or its equivalent.
  •  Mean grade of C- (Minus) at KCSE and progressed from certificate to Diploma at
  • Kenyatta University or any other recognized/accredited Institutions.

Course Requirements for Bachelor of Arts Students
A candidate who combines English with another language e.g. Kiswahili or French shall not be required to take the units of the department of English and Linguistics which concern the general study of language or linguistics in the other language.

The examination will be governed by Kenyatta University regulations. Continuous assessment tests will constitute 30% the main examination will constitute 70%.

Students will be awarded a Bachelor of Degree Certificate of Kenyatta University.Distinction
Credit 1 (60% -  69%), Credit 2 (50% -59%), Pass (40% - 49%), Fail39% and below.
